# Simple Tutorial on Main Topics of Digital Electronics

In this tutorial, we are going to learn about the main topics of digital electronics.

## The main topics of digital electronics.

• Number System and Codes – The Number systems system, It is a number system which numbers are represented as the digits 0 and 1 and it is used in the computers, while Its can work with two voltage levels, and  the number system is the binary system (1 – ON, 0 – OFF).
•  Logic gates and Boolean algebra –It is a standard table to give a visual representation of the switching functions of the system and Boolean Algebra Expressions; it can be used to construct digital logic truth tables for their respective functions.
• Combined Circuits – It is the circuit combination of series and parallel paths for the electricity to flow that is the properties are a combination of the two. In this example, in this circuit, the parallel section of the circuit is like a sub-circuit and main part of an overall series circuit.
• Sequential Circuit – It is circuit which is the output depends not only on the present value of its input signals else on the sequence of past inputs.
• Logic family – It is a set of techniques which is used to implement logic within very large scale integrated circuits such as central processors, memories etc.
• Semiconductor Memories – It is a device which is used for digital data storage, such as computer memory. It is belong to MOS memory, which is used to data stored within metal–oxide–semiconductor (MOS) memory cells on a silicon integrated circuit memory chip.
• A/D (Analog to Digital) Converter – The analogue to digital converter takes a snapshot of an analogue voltage at one instant in time and produces a digital output code which represents 0 is low and 1 is high.
• D/A (Digital to Analog) Converter – It is Converter which used where the binary output from a digital system is to be converted into its equivalent analog voltage or current.
• Micro – Processor – It is a computer processor which is the data processing logic and control is included on a single integrated circuit. It is the contains, the arithmetic, logic, and control circuitry required to perform the functions of a computer’s central processing unit.
